Nook
The
Lexx arrives at a planet inhabited totally by men who live a monk-
like existence. Xev sees this as her opportunity to finally get laid
but is in for a surprise as she is seen as a man! Poor Stan however
finds himself the object of affection by one of the monks. Due to
an ancient rite that is performed at the solstice Xev (at long last)
gets what she wanted. Stan's date is killed by the head monk pretending
to be Kai...this head man is none too happy about Xev and succeeds
in destroying the planet before Mantrid or the Lexx.
2.12:
Norb
The best show since "791". Remember the Waltons from "White Trash"?
Well junior's back! This time he has bumped into Mantrid and ends
up becoming a trap for the Lexx. Our heroes find themselves over-run
by Mantrid's droid arms that slowly use the Lexx's living tissue in
order to construct themselves. 790, it's discovered, has some brain
tissue, which makes him more appealing to Xev and of course makes
him feel more human than robot. As usual with help from Kai things
turn out ok, but Mantrid makes an appearance and lets them know he
is out to destroy humanity.
2.13:
Twilight
Stan is dying. Help is at hand with a former cleric, his family and
the robot 792, who share a solitary island on a planet. Problem is
the island is also inhabited by zombies of His Divine Shadow predecessors.
Xev and Kai take Stan to the cleric and medicine is found in a bottle
of shampoo. Kai starts to act very strangely, having some fixation
with the wheel and how it goes round and round. 790 calls for help
in the form of Lyekka and she makes her way to the plant to devour
some protein. The cleric's daughter finds herself drawn to Lyekka
but she's in for a shock. All ends well, but when Stan orders the
Lexx to destroy the planet someone gets there first ...
Yes,
it's those arms!!!
2.14:
Woz
790
lands a bombshell and announces that Xev only has 79 hours to live
thanks to his programming her during the love-slave transformation.
The only place they can find a machine to re-programme her is on a
planet inhabited by the Wozard, a crazed guy who is against the love-slave
thing, and the Dark lady who has the love-slaves. Xev is given help,
unfortunately by the Wozard! He reverts her to Zev.... don't get excited
fellas, I mean the ORIGINAL Zev!!! It was great to see her again though.
All kinds of chaos ensues, Stan gets seduced by a couple of love-slaves,
Kai takes plenty of bullets, 790 cries a lot and the Dark Lady turns
out to be not so bad after all, the Wozard succeeds in blowing himself
and everything else up, our heroes escape with a newly revived Xev,
oh! and Mantrid blows the planet up.
2.15:
Patches in the Sky
Stan gets the Lexx to blow up a planet inhabited by robots, not before
he finds out about a place where he can live out his dreams. He gets
his dreams, unfortunately his dreams become nightmares, and guess
what? LEATHER ASS is back! Stan's fantasies turn into a battle with
Giggerota, in which Xev gets involved to try to save our hero. The
thing that scares us all is that we discover there are " patches in
the sky " and parts of the universe are going missing. Could this
be Mantrid's doing? Stan and Xev are both rescued by Kai and they
flee the planet. One of Mantrid's drone arms makes an appearance and
true to form causes some destruction.
2.16:
The Web
Stan has lost his hat and the crew must go to the Dark Zone to escape
the Mantrid drones that are taking over the Universe. Stan blames
Kai because he gave the insect to Mantrid (see 2.1). Kai suggests
going to the centre of the Universe as there could be a way there
to the Dark Zone. Xev takes a shower and Stan still looks for his
hat. Guess where he decides to look? The Lexx can see a web and is
afraid that there could be a spider in it, but its too late and they
become trapped. Both Stan and Kai are changed, Stan appears to be
in a coma and Kai is trapped in a web. Xev rescues Stan who in turn
tells her where to find Kai. As they approach the centre of the universe
they all experience uncertainties. They try to use the Lexx's memory
to find out what happened but they can't and when they try to go outside
they discover the way out blocked. T he Lexx is blind, the web covers
it. Kai attaches 790 to an optic nerve, and they go in search of the
spider, when they find it, Kai kills it. All ends well as Stan's hat
is found under his post on the bridge, be known to 790 all along.
2.17:
The Net
Take
"The Web", add 5 minutes of Stan pulling funny faces, inform us that
he was possessed by a spider and flog it as a new episode. Sorry dear
reader but I was VERY disappointed.
2.18:
Brigadoom
The
crew come across a theatre in space. When they investigate they discover
a Brunnen G Operatic Society who tell the story of Kai and the demise
of his people. Kai is encouraged to join them on stage and along with
Xev we are given an insight into the story of Kai's resistance to
the forces of His Shadow. Stan is reluctant to participate and has
an unusual change of heart when he decides it's time to stop running
from Mantrid and turn around to fight. So the confrontation between
the Lexx and Mantrid is on the horizon. We were treated to Xenia's
singing abilities, and she's good! She also suited the black wig.
This was one of the better episodes because we saw more of Mike McManus
and a lot of questions about his past were answered, especially where
did they get the insect craft from when they were defending their
planet.
2.19:
Brizon
The
crew are hunting for Mantrid. They come across Brizon, designer of
the Lexx and Mantrid's teacher in the days of the Devine Order. He
too is out to catch Mantrid and tells the crew that with the help
of a drone arm he can disable Mantrid's machine. Everything has a
price and because Brizon is reliant on life support like Mantrid,
he requires Xev's body. Under duress she agrees. They find Mantrid,
who by now is a machine, and he dupes Brizon who is then killed. It's
all set for the final showdown in the last episode.
2.20:
The End Of The Universe
Our hero's finally catch up with Mantrid. The Lexx is attacked by
drone arms and Lyekka's pod is damaged.790 uses the drone arm that
was captured in the previous episode to build other 790 drones and
they go to defeat Mantrid. Lyekka travels to Mantrid's hideaway and
manages to destroy part of his machine. The Lexx turns to pretend
to flee and Mantrid and his arms all give chase because of the enormity
of Mantrid's army the universe collapses and the Lexx is forced into
the Dark Zone again...everyone thinks all is well, but Mantrid has
got through too, only to brag that he destroyed a universe before
being destroyed by Xev's boot! And so it's all over :-( till next
series. And don't worry fellas; Lyekka lives on in Stan's dreams!
