Good levels of protein compared to other vegetable wastes but note the high calcium level.

Limits on Usage
Contains goitrogenic substances which can interfere with iodine absorption and produce anaemia with prolonged inclusion. Attention to mineral supplementation needed, particularly if fed with other Brassica species eg Rapeseed meal.
