Swimmers Code of Conduct
ALL Boldmere swimmers are expected to:

Arrive on time and be prepared to swim; Swimmers should enter the Leisure Centre no
earlier than 20 min. before practice, Swimmers must shower and dress promptly and leave
the Leisure Centre no later than 20 min. after practice. It is the parents responsibility
to ensure the Swimmers arrive at and leave the Leisure Centre in a quiet and timely
manner.

Wait for instructions from the coach (or teacher) before entering the water.

Listen carefully and follow directions.

Complete the workout and practices with enthusiasm and respect for the coach, teacher
and other swimmers.

Behave in an appropriate manner to other swimmers, parents, coaches, personnel of the
Leisure Centre, and swim guests, whether in the pool, around the pool, in the changing
rooms, or outside the Leisure Centre.

Use appropriate language at all times.

Have a helpful and supportive attitude toward other members of the Club.

Behave in a safe manner both in and out of the pool.

Respect the bodies, belongings, and feelings of the other swimmers.

Show positive team spirit.

Follow all other rules of Boldmere Swimming Club and the Leisure
Centre.
This Code of Conduct applies to swimmers at any Swimming Club function in or out the
Leisure Centre including practices and Galas. Swimmers who do not follow the rules
outlined in the Code of Conduct will be subject to disciplinary action according to Club
Rule 10.
