This site is at present just up for testing and tuning and detail
is a little thin, but if you stumble across it, and are interested in Roman Britain, I
would welcome your comment, - bearing in mind that the site is designed to the lowest
common denominator of browser software, - my email address is on the Homepage.
These Archaeology pages will eventually list the majority of Romano-British sites that
have been the subject of excavations (..at least those excavations that have been
written-up and published).The lists are divided over several pages arranged alphabetically
by the local name, and major sites that have a large number of references are given
dedicated pages linked from this index; - sites with entries in the gazetteer also have a
link "[G]" in the header.
