Roman Britain

This is just a short list of on-line Booksellers with links to their websites. It includes three specialist suppliers; - for a full rangeof new/in-print classical studies and archaeology titles, Oxbow Books has an extensive on-line catalogue and they have a US based stockist. They also market a range of remaindered titles at reduced prices.

For out-of-print/second-hand books dealing with the Roman period two excellent sources in the UK are, - Castle Bookshop and Heritage Archaeological Books (both with world-wide shipping facilities). The latter also keeps an extensive stock of journal article off-prints.

The Britiish Archaeology Report (BAR) British and International Series publications are not widely available through the retail channel, but the publishers, Archaeopress have a presence on the web and their publications can be ordered on-line.
