caryvention.org is the homepage for Cary Grant fans who are interested in meeting with others.  The caryvention is a not-for-profit gathering of Cary Grant fans, which currently takes place annually. It allows us to get to know one another and delight, as a group, in the joys of Mr. Grant.  Typical events include a cocktail evening, get-together meal, Cary Grant quizzes & games, screening of Cary Grant movies in a cinema etc. etc. However, as there are usually a number of long suffering relatives and loved ones in attendance, there are always a number of activities (including sightseeing) without a hint of Cary! There are no stalls selling memorabilia. No one trying to make a profit. But Cary Grant fans are a generous lot by nature, and if you attend you will find that not only have you made some really good friends who don't think of you as completely crazy because you like Cary Grant, but also you may gain some small Cary Grant trinkets. And of course, you may meet someone who has that one bit of memorabilia you would just die for! The majority of attendees of the annual Caryvention are members of the Email Warbrides. But don't let this put you off ... you may even want to join us after you have attended - many do!
