Perhaps you don't feel ready to attend the annual Caryvention. Or perhaps
you don't have the time or money? Perhaps you just want to meet Cary Grant fans in your area. The ideal solution
is a mini-meet.
To read about mini-meets already held, follow the links below:
Donna & Debbie - A tale of two Audreys.
Aileen, April, Derna, Karen & Sarah - April meets the Londoners (mostly!).
If you want your story to be featured here, either place it on your
own web page and email me with the URL, or send the story (and pictures?) to me at the same address.
Always be careful when meeting someone in person who you have only previously spoken to on the internet. Be sensible
- meet in a public place, let people know where you are going, and take a friend or relative with you if possible.
In addition, rather than a one-to-one meeting try to get a small group together. I have met many wonderful people
in person after talking to them on the net and have never had a problem, but I have always followed my own advice.
Be safe and have fun!
The best thing to do if you want to meet other Cary Grant fans in your area is either join the email warbrides (a Cary Grant mailing list), or
post a message to the forum.
