Monk Fryston Art Club meets in the Church Hall every Monday
(term time only) from 1pm to 4pm.

New members always welcome

The club welcomes both experienced painters and complete beginners. Whilst most current members work with watercolours or acrylics and occasionally oils, we look forward to trying out other media shown to us by visiting demonstrators.

We also enjoy tea and biscuits and a chat almost as much as our paintings.

Open demonstrations with guest artists are held on a regular basis, to which anyone is welcome to attend.

We also hold exhibitions at local venues which includes not only members efforts but works by well known professional artists too.  The exhibitions carry an amazing variety of work, subject matters, techniques and indeed, colour and are always worth a visit.

If you see us around the village painting your house, garden, pond or road please be kind to us. We are amateurs after all, not professionals, and looking over our shoulders may make us nervous, though we will enjoy meeting you and talking about our art and Club.

The club meets again in September in Monk Fryston Church Hall. If you would like to join or simply come to see what we do, you will be most welcome.
