The children are supervised by Auntie Jayne, the Playschool Leader
and supported by Auntie Elaine and Playschool Assistant, Auntie Carol.

The waiting list is arranged in order of date of birth, then by priority of application, giving Monk Fryston & Hillam preference over the other Monk Fryston School placement villages.

The maximum number of children per session is 24.

We are a Committee run Playschool, members of the Pre-school Learning Alliance and are OFSTED inspected, receiving excellent OFSTED reports.

In Playschool your child has the opportunity to make friends with other children of his/her own age and relate to other adults. We provide a safe environmentin which your child can express him/her self through play and develop the various skills necessary to progress to school. He/she will learn to share, to take turns and gain independence and confidence.
