English actor Benjamin Pullen will intrigue audiences in his starring role as the dark and enigmatic Ivanhoe.At 28,Pullen is the young,handsome Ivanhoe Sir Walter Scott dreamt up in his 1791 novel.

Describing his character as "a mix of hard man and vulnerability"Pullen is thriving on the challenge of playing the mythical knight.Though he has ridden horses,Ben has no special training in martial arts,sword play or stunt work.Blessed however with a natural aptitude for the dfficult physical challenges the role demands,Pullen especially enjoys filming the fight scenes on horseback.

Now living in London,Ben was born in Switzerland and grew up in Hong Kong and the United Sates.Since studying film at the university of Warwick and training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre school,Ben has landed an array of film and television roles.

He will be familiar to audiences from his starring roles including Robin in "The Last Salute",and Nick in"Faith in the Future".Feature film roles include "The Ideal Husband" where he worked with Cate Blanchett and Rupert Everett,Ben played Tommy Trafford,Minnie Driver's love interest.Ben has just completed his latest film "L'Intern" playing the romantic lead opposite Dominique Swain of "Lolita" fame.

Ben recently married Sarah,a stockbroker, and they have a 7 month old son,Oscar.
