Sent 23 Jul 2010.Located in the heart of Arnheim. At first I didn't want to try this shop but, when I'm there, I thought I can also go inside and take a look! Happily I did it, because I get superb weed! I bought "Silver Pearl", "SCR" and the killer "Danger Haze"! The last one is a must have; when I smoked it, I was "out of order" for a long time! Also tastes great! The other sorts were a bit difficult to roll, cause they were so resinous! The shop is a little bit dark and empty, when I was there, there were no people in it. They are a bit more expensive than the other shops in Arnhem (especially the ones outside the old town), but they have hash that I don't see anywhere else. Their Corali is my favorite smoke in town. The shop itself is friendly and comfortable, definitely the kind of place you could chill out for a while. Their is no food, and the drink options are limited, but their are all kinds of good options for those in the neighborhood. Kevin the lorry driver from England. Sent 8 Feb 2004.Really nice weed, they have two pretty good strains I've tried just a little while ago, one is called Sunrise, the other is called Green Dream (if I'm not wrong) the thing about Green Dream is that you can get more than a gram for 5 euros (either that or it's because I used to go there a lot, haha). Tall Paul from Germany. Sent 14 Dec 2003.I'd pretty much agree with the previous entry, but don't expect anything like an Amsterdam coffee shop, the emphasis here is it's a place to buy and smoke. When I asked for coffee they had to put it on specially, the range of drinks is very limited. Saying that though the quality and prices are great! Can highly recommend the Menali & K2 weed. Oh, and one last thing, it's an upstairs place so watch out for the rather steep steps on the way out, they take quite some effort after a J or two! Steven from USA. Sent 26 Jul 2003.Joint Venture is, in my opinion, the best coffeeshop in Arnhem. However, if you are looking for an English-friendly, Amsterdam-esque coffeeshop, look away. Joint Venture is one of the most local (and therefore, truly Dutch) coffeeshops I have been in throughout the Netherlands. However, it is also one of the best. With a decor representing no certain theme, it has an interesting, home-spun vibe. The prices are shockingly low, especially to one just coming from Amsterdam. Not to imply that low prices means low-grade grass, as the grass and hash here equals the quality of Amsterdam's over-hyped, over-priced smokables any day of the week. The staff may not make any effort to speak extra English, but as it is Holland, they shouldn't have to. The Twissla hash is divine. How to post comments
