See also forum topic. Small and really very pleasant. Quiet and empty when we were there, I can imagine this place packed and as smoky as a Dutch oven in the high season. Tiny, friendly staff. Excellent "Ummagumma" and "Tsar" which were both excellent quality and reasonably priced; the imported hash looked genuine too. A nice small shop located near the Grote Markt. Comfy wicker chairs, great selection of loose teas. Check out the scrapbooks in the magazine stack, very interesting art work. Not a shop I will be rushing back to visit, especially after such good experiences at Willy Wortel's. The prices here are very cheap for food and drinks, but the menu is the same as Overkant Hortus in Amsterdam (which I was not overly impressed with anyway) and although the weed dealer seemed a friendly guy, the female waitress was far from friendly (borderline ignoring me when I was waiting to be served). Located just around the corner from the Grote Markt, the Theehuis is a small but friendly Shop. I discovered them fresh off the plane one Sunday afternoon. Jetlag was about to set-in. I asked the guy behind the counter for something energizing, and he had just the thing. Then he made me one of those cheese/tomato sandwiches (only 1 Euro) and I was good to go. Nice music, comfy, though small. Great selection of teas, even a honey jar to sweeten it up. All in all my favorite of the Haarlem shops we visited. For good quality and nice atmosphere I often go here, this shop comes closest to the better shops in Amsterdam (Tweede Kamer, Greenhouse, Dampkring, Abraxas etc) only the price is a little higher I think. They have won a few cannabis cup awards in the past. I thought for Dutch Delight and Silver Haze. They also have a greenhouse production: White Widow. And every tea u can imagine, they have it there! We decided to go to Haarlem to see wot it was about. Read somewhere that it was nice little town with a few coffeeshops. We was going to go to the Global Hemp Museum after a walk down the town trying to find it we stumbled across it, Unfortunately I'm not sure wots happened to it but it's closed down not sure it may of moved so we decided to head back and wandered into this place. Very small and narrow shop but had a nice menu of smokables bought some AK47 from here and was pretty pleased with it, staff are friendly and if in Haarlem again I'll be sure to visit again. Probably the best menu in Holland, classic, small, local shop. Very impressed I will return. How to post comments
