CONSTITUTION OF THE CREULLY CLUB
(FOUNDED 1992)
NAME
The name of the Association shall be 'The Creully
Club' 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards (N.W. Europe 1940-1945 Association)
hereinafter referred to as the Association.
OBJECTS
The Association is established for all those who
served in the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards during the campaign in N.W.
Europe with the purpose of renewing old comradeships and also to remember
our friends who were killed in action.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership shall be open to those who served in the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon
Guards in N.W. Europe.
Relatives, friends and supporters may also be members at the discretion
of the Secretary.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
To be agreed at the Annual General Meeting and shall be due on the 1st
September each year.
ANNNUAL GENERAL MEETING
An Annual General Meeting shall be held on the Saturday preceding Remembrance
Day.
ADMINISTRATION
Administration shall be undertaken by 'the Secretary'.
The position of Secretary will be open to nomination each year with
the consent of the nominee being obtained and determined by a majority
vote at the Annual General Meeting.
PRESIDENT
The President of the Association shall be nominated with the agreement
of the members.
ACCOUNTS
The end of the Association's financial year shall be the 31st August
each year.
The financial transactions of the Association shall be presented at
the Annual General Meeting.
DISSOLUTION
The Association can be dissolved by a majority vote of the members at
the Annual General Meeting or at a Special Meeting.
Any assets remaining to be used for the purpose of financing a wreath
(or flowers) to be laid at the Regimental Memorial at Creully each year
on the 6th June and to be administered by a person nominated at the
meeting.
