How do I change the keyboard layout?
Please view my Notices page before viewing this area, it is not complete!
This is work in progress.
Basically the keyboard layout can be changed by adding KEYB followed by a 2
character country code to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
The codes are:
Belgium | be |
Brazil | br |
Canadian-French | cf |
Czech Republic | cz |
Denmark | dk |
Finland | su |
France | fr |
Germany | gr |
|
Hungary | hu |
Italy | it |
Latin America | la |
Netherlands | nl |
Norway | no |
Poland | pl |
Portugal | po |
Slovaki | sl |
|
Spain | sp |
Sweden | sv |
Switzerland (French) | sf |
Switzerland (German) | sg |
United Kingdom | uk |
United States | us |
Yugoslavia | yu |
|
So to choose a UK keyboard layout add:
keyb uk
For a full description of KEYB, please refer to either help/documentation
provided with the version of DOS you are using or to the
DOS reference section.
Trawled this site and still can't find the solution to your problem?
If so I highly recommend The DOS Board.
It has several good techies waiting to answer your questions and I
hang around there a lot too.
