Why do dates and times apear in the wrong format?
Please view my Notices page before viewing this area, it is not complete!
This is work in progress.
Because you haven't set up the country information correctly, the default
is set for the United States.
To remedy this you need to add a line to your CONFIG.SYS file which looks
something like this:
Country=nnn,,d:\path\COUNTRY.SYS
'nnn' is the country code (see the table below).
'd' is the drive which contains the file COUNTRY.SYS.
'path' is the path of the COUNTRY.SYS file.
Belgium | 032 |
Brazil | 055 |
Canadian-French | 002 |
Czech Republic/Slovakia | 042 |
Denmark | 045 |
Finland | 358 |
France | 033 |
Germany | 049 |
Hungary | 036 |
International English | 061 |
Italy | 039 |

Latin America | 003 |
Netherlands | 031 |
Norway | 047 |
Poland | 048 |
Portugal | 351 |
Spain | 034 |
Sweden | 046 |
Switzerland | 041 |
United Kingdom | 044 |
United States | 001 |
Croatia/Serbia/Slovenia/Yugoslavia | 038 |

Since I live in England I use the United Kingdom code, which is 044.
The COUNTRY.SYS file on my machine is on drive C, in the DRDOS directory, so
I need the following line in my CONFIG.SYS file.
Country=044,,C:\DRDOS\COUNTRY.SYS
If you want more information on this topic then refer to COUNTRY.SYS and
KEYB.COM in the DOS Reference
section.
Trawled this site and still can't find the solution to your problem?
If so I highly recommend The DOS Board.
It has several good techies waiting to answer your questions and I
hang around there a lot too.
