Where can I download software/abandonware/warez?

Legally there is no such thing as abandonware. Due to the fact that these sites are illegal I'm afraid I not prepared to help you find them, sorry.
Besides if I did give the URL's out here, how long do you think the sites would stay up and running?
I sympathise with the fact that there are some required/useful programs which are no longer made available, but I really don't want to face a fine or whatever the penalty is for making them available.
For what its worth I do think that companies should make software freeware when they no longer want to support it, some of course do this.

It has several good techies waiting to answer your questions and I hang around there a lot too.
