EUROFEDERALIST GERMAN
TARGETS TELEGRAPH TITLES
Dateline: 8th May 2004
Axel Springer the German publisher of the down market "Bildzeitung",
a right wing equivalent in Germany of The Sun is bidding to take over
the Telegraph Group of newspapers, at present owned by Bilderberger
Black. The German press magnate, whose tentacles extend to southern
and Eastern Europe, commits his newspapers to the policy of " the
promotion of the unification of the peoples of Europe".
Black, having lost what little reputation he had, is forced to sell
his papers and could end up in prison for a series of alleged illegalities
in the management of his world wide publishing group Hollinger International.
The latter's subsidiary holds The Daily Telegraph (the UK's biggest
circulation quality newspaper) The Sunday Telegraph (The UK's second
biggest circulation quality Sunday newspaper) and The Spectator, the
principal Conservative weekly. What little rejection of European fascism
and corporatism is likely to be evident in the UK in future would come
from these newspapers. But in the hands of Springer this option would
be impossible.
In other words, incredibly for British Conservatives, here we have
a German right wing newspaper on the side of the worst eurofederalists.
This is one of the reasons why before the war when we were looking for
"good Germans" to resist Hitler, we found that his opponents
were either communists or anti-nation state "Conservatives"!
That is also how the leader of the "Conservative" Christian
Democrat Party, Helmut Kohl was such an enemy of British Conservatives
and such a promoter of the abolition of European nation States (and
why he in turn was so well supported by "former" Nazi industrialists
in the 1950s and 1960s - see this website for the story). It also
helps to explain why true Conservative MEPs in the European Parliament
find the Christian Democrats such uncomfortable bedfellows. They are
eurofederalist, corporatist and mainly Roman Catholic - the latter being
the explanation of their desire for a European super-State and their
antipathy to democratic nationhood. Needless to say this makes the Tory
Party's decision to stay in the same parliamentary group (the EPP) as
these parties quite grotesque!
Since the 1960s the Springer press had promoted the re-unification
of Germany. From the 1990s, following the realisation of that aim, this
was changed to the promotion of European unification! Together with
other German press organisations Springer has effectively invaded the
newspaper radio and television industries of countries like Serbia,
Croatia, Poland and the Czech Republic. Their purpose is clear - to
use local news media to counter democratic nationhood and promote the
new "German Europe" in the form of the supranational European
Union.
The German postal system is making a specific effort to enter the UK
market, German companies own both Bentley and Rolls Royce, German energy
companies have large chunks of the UK's energy industry and are making
great inroads into other strategic British industries. German industry's
alliance with the French in defence equipment gives them (via the French
group Thales massive control of the British defence industry) another
strategic and highly political investment in Britain.
But just as Bilderberger Black succeeded from the mid 1980s to turn
the Telegraph Group into an appeaser of German Europe and European Federalism
(supporting the Maastricht Treaty and kowtowing to Tony Blair, a committed
eurofederalist) so the damage that could be done by Springer owning
the Telegraph Group could be fatal to the British people.
The end of Black could have been a great triumph for the cause of democratic
nationism. But a sale by Black to Springer would mean going from the
eurofederalist frying pan into the German imperialist fire!
