Born on the 18 June 1822 in White County, TN, the son of Major & Anna Anderson Passons.

Married Cecelia (Celia) Grissom Passons  on the 24 27 January 1842 in Van Buren County, TN.

Enlisted in the Regiment on the 24 May 1861.

Discharged due to the overage provision of the Conscription Act on 16 July 1862.

Compelled to take the Oath or go to prison.

Filed for pension, number 12938.

His wife died on  8 January 1873 and he died in January 1913 in White County, TN. Both are buried at Old Union, White County, TN.
