(It has been suggested that he could have been a member of the Regiment, but that at the moment has not been proven).

Born on the 12 October 1843 the son of William Lacy jr and Keliah Grimsley Lacy.

He enlisted in the infantry on the 3 December 1861.

Married Margaret Elizabeth Byers on the 15 December 1861.

Their son William Wolsey Lacy was born 1862.

On the 4 October 1862 he changed units joining the 8th Tennessee Cavalry Regiment (Smith's).

He disappeared some time after 19 June 1863 with his widow remarrying in 1866.
