We have on ongoing GM Policy, where possible, to use GM FREE ingredients. All our Soya and Maize ingredients and products are GM free and in most cases organic, as are most of our dry goods ie. nuts, rice, pulses, herbs & spices etc. and cheeses (The rennets used by our suppliers are certified GM Free).

The main problem areas for ourselves are currently fresh fruit, vegetables and salad produce. Suppliers of these products in general have not got a clue as to the original source. The effect of cross pollination from adjoining fields or farms is also an unknown quantity.

It is interesting to note that current legislation to declare a GM Policy only applies to soya and maize products.
