Provisional bookings remain firm for
one week pending return of booking form and 25% deposit (cheques payable
to Tamar Valley Cottages). |

The balance, together with a £50
deposit against damages and electricity charges, is due one month prior to
the arrival date. Non payment by this date will be treated as cancellation
and the deposit is forfeit. The damages deposit, less charges, will be returned
within three weeks of guests’ departure from Tamar Valley Cottages. |
| 3. |
Where bookings are made less than one
month prior to the arrival date, the full rental fee is payable
immediately. |
| 4. |
In the event of cancellation, please
advise us immediately. We will attempt to relet the property and return your
payment, less a handling charge of £20. If we are unable to relet, all
monies will be forfeit. |
| 5. |
The cottages are available from 4.00pm
on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure. |
| 6. |
The number of people occupying a cottage
must not exceed the number stated unless by special arrangement with Tamar
Valley Cottages. |
| 7. |
The cottages should be left in the
same condition as found. Any breakages should be reported at once and we
reserve the right to charge for any non-trivial damage. |
| 8. |
In the unlikely event of your cottage
being unavailable for reasons beyond our control, eg fire damage, we will
endeavour to find similar alternative accommodation or give a complete refund.
No further liability will be accepted. |
| 9. |
The use of accommodation and amenities,
particularly the children’s play area, is entirely at the hirer’s
risk and children should be supervised at all times. No responsibility can
be accepted for injury, loss or damage to the hirer, hirer’s property
or companions and guests. |
| 10. |
The Proprietors reserve the right
to demand the withdrawal, without notice, of any person whose conduct is
prejudicial to the wellbeing of other guests. In such cases the proprietors
shall not be liable to make a refund of any monies paid. |
| 11. |
No single sex parties under 25 years
of age will be accepted. |
