Fell Running Championship - 2000

Below is the calendar for the Helsby Running Club's own fell running championship. This year we have gone for a higher number of more local events and have included all three of the Lyme Park Race series (marked with an *). Already it sounds like we might be tempting some of our more road bound members to try something a little bit on the wild side. Where there is sufficent interest, especially for the evening races, we hope that we'll be able to convince Robbie to join us with his minibus and make a real evening of it. Robbie and his bus have already been booked for the Anniversary Waltz and we're sorting some accomodation for club members, so look out for a good Helsby turnout on 22nd April.

All the events have been drawn from the Fell Runners Association's calendar of events. A link in our list will either take you to the race's own website or give you an e-mail link to the organiser.

As per the road running club championships, a runners best seven races to count, the first club runner scoring 20 points, the next 19, the one after 18 and so forth.
