Herefordshire Branch Newsletter - The Hereford Hopvine

Current edition (Autumn 2009) distributed end September Next edition (Christmas 2009) to be distributed early December

Yes - we know that hops grow on bines, but our newsletter is named after that other great means of communication, the grapevine! It is published four times per year and delivered to over 150 pubs within the county plus many in adjoining areas. Copies also find their way to many beer festivals, and real ale pubs around the country.

The Hopvine has been declared runner-up for 2008 in the CAMRA West Midlands Region, a close second behind Pint Taken, which is produced by the three CAMRA branches in Worcestershire.

First published in June 2001, 3500 copies of each edition are printed and the format is A5, full colour, normally 32 pages.

We can handle copy in microsoft word or publisher, or in .jpg or .tif formats. Don't worry if you don't already have a design - we can develop an advertisement from your suggestions.

Distribution

Does the newsletter get to your local? If not, you may be able to help, especially if you come to Hereford regularly and can pick up some copies.

Alternatively you can order copies by post from Dave Powell, 18 Chatsworth Road Hereford, HR4 9HZ at £2 for 4 copies.

Our current web host does not handle big enough files to allow the newsletter to be viewed online. However a pdf version (file size 6.7MB) with low-res graphics for on-screen viewing is availailable, and can be sent to your email address. Contact chairman.
