Closer to home - a message from North Wales

Meeting new friends - patiently

We send greetings from North Wales and Wirral. It has been a very exciting few months and we have met a lot of new people. Many have expressed an interest in supporting HHI.

We have visited Prestatyn a number of times - to the Presbyterian Church and the Trefoil Guild - and have been invited back in the coming months. We have also spoken at a local junior school who have expressed an interest in making contacts with other children in Zambia or India.

God is with us in these times, filling us with confidence and hope. As you might expect not all the contacts we have made are bearing fruit but we will remain patient and hopeful.

As it says in Romans 8 24:25 ‘For in this hope we are saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently’.

So we trust in God as we build up the numbers of supporters in the ‘north’ and our aim is to hold our first supporters’ evening!
