Spring 2005

April

Owen

Owen is the young man who fell under a train. It was initially thought that he might lose the all four limbs.

However, things are looking slightly better for him. He has lost one hand and both feet but is able to get around by means of a wheelchair.

This enables him to continue in what he was doing prior to the accident, which was distribute Gospel leaflets to people.

Latest Update on Solomon

SOLOMON'S OPERATION HAS STILL NOT TAKEN PLACE. (APRIL 2005)

Please pray that this will be possible soon and that it will be a success for him.

He and his father have been back and forth to South Africa several times but there are delays each time with the surgeons not performing the operation for one reason or another.

The current total cost of this is about £6,000 but we feel we cannot leave poor Solomon without any hope.

Connett

Connett has had one operation already in Lusaka, where surgeons removed several Kilogrammes of the growth from his face. He must wait for this to heal before they can remove any more. It is going to be a long process for him.

Please continue pray for him and for the success of these operations.
