STORTRUM

"Praise the LORD"

AS you can see the word 'STORTRUM' means 'Praise the LORD'.

It is a traditional Indian Christian greeting in the local dialect of Malayalam, around the area of Kerala in Southern India.
It is well worth having as a heading on this page as we report on a young doctor who has joined Tom Sutherland as a member of HHI (complete with pin badge!).
He is Dr. Vino, a young Christian who is very outgoing.
He forms part of a very good team. The team comprises Tom, who pays for the drugs on behalf of HHI, Philip Mathew, (Tom's right hand man) who dispenses the drugs to the patients and Dr Vino, himself who conducts the medical diagnostics. He works free of charge for which we are very grateful.
One method he uses to help the depressed people around is to get them to repeat several times

"The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want."

It is quite amazing how their faces change and light up as the Good Shepherd cares for His sheep and their depression lifts.
