NEWS AND VIEWS

This is the main directory for my News and Views pages. The idea was for a part of my site where I could set out, briefly, my thoughts on any issue which caught my interest.

Only it seems that I don't have as many opinions as I used to. Looking at the list again, I only ever wrote four, and three of them are out of date now so I've removed them (and just left you with the results off the readers' polls in case you're interested).

So for now, the only subject covered is:

  • Foxhunting I might write some more later this year, if something grabs my attention sufficiently and I find the time to write it while it's still topical!

    The other polls argued:
    that Manchester Utd should go to Brazil and ignore the FA Cup if they wanted;
    (Agree 33% Disagree 33%; Couldn't care less 33%)

    that cricket was a sport past its sell-by date and was in permanent decline;
    (Agree 40% Disagree 20% Couldn't care less 40%)

    and that something radical needed to happen to cricket in England if we were ever again going to produce half-way decent players.
    (range of answers too complex to summarise simply)

    Anyhow, judging by voting levels, they haven't been the most popular pages on the site... Apologies to anyone who would have been interested; you can still read the one on foxhunting, and there's a poll for you to vote that you either agree or disagree - how much fun is that?
