I get e-mails from many different places either about Limavady, or from people who
do research into their family name, so I thought an introduction might be useful.
I was born in 1943 in Germany and grew up in Werdohl. This is a town in the Sauerland, part of Westfalia. Lueg is a rare name in Germany, but the Sauerland is crawling with Luegs - allegedly. I came to Northern Ireland over forty years ago, fell in love with the place and my very own Peg of Limavady and have been living here happily ever since. I am the most boring of persons - a retired college lecturer! My wife and I live on a mountain in a little house with a nice view.
Oh yes, I like Border Collies and cows - and donkeys - and Border Collies of course. I like them twice as much.
