About us

Opened in 1976 by Michael Mulgrew, he and his family have added to and improved the Park ever since.

They also own and run the adjoining farm. It is very much a family run affair. Two minutes walk across the fields is a safe, sandy beach, ideal for swimming, fishing and water sports. Boat launching facilities are available.

The park caters for privately owned static caravans, with new and used caravans for sale.

There is a large grassed touring area with electric hook-ups and pitches suitable for tourers, tents and motor caravans.

Fully equipped static caravans are available for hire.

The views from the park are quite spectacular and include the Langdales in the Lake District and across the bay to the Yorkshire Hills and Dales.

Barrow has some wonderful attractions including Furness Abbey and Piel Castle. The Dock Museum is an interesting place to visitor you may prefer to browse around the good selection of shops.

The park is an ideal base for visiting the Lake District and has a huge variety of

Leaflets promoting the local attractions.
