Projectiles

Projectiles
These have the soul aim of blowing your opponent sky high and depriving him of his Power plus bricks. If you get hit by one, then you fly upwards a little way into the air and lose a power plus brick (if you have one). If you get hit by a Guided Missile, then there is a chance that you will turn 180° whilst in the air. The exception to the rule is the Grappling Hook.

Cannon Ball
This is the basic projectile and has a range of anything from directly in front to miles ahead. It sort of targets different racers (very annoying when it is aimed at a secret entrance) but then it can miss them entirely and fly of at a weird angle. You hear the noise of them approaching, which sometimes gives you time to swerve out of their way as they are both slow and not manœuverable once in the air.
Grappling Hook
The odd one out of the four due to the fact that it helps you directly by speeding you up a bit. If you latch onto something and drive around a corner, then the rope will be pulled through the wall on the corner and partially disappear! Be careful, as they can disconnect on sharp corners, hills, or if you slow down a lot.
Lightning Wand
A surge of electricity pours out of your car and forms a thin waving wand in front of you. The good thing abou this is that they can hit loads of people very quickly or the same person loads of times. Try to use it when you need to stop somebody from collecting too many Power Plus bricks, or when you are losing and have a lot of opponents directly in front of you.
Guided Missiles
Highly powerful, and highly useful, theses 3 missiles will zoom around the course and send your opponent sky high. They aren't foolproof though, as sometimes they crash into walls and explode, and sometimes they all target the same racer rather than splitting up.
