Shields
Shields can destory hazards, protect against projectiles and spin opponents. When they are in use, they all look the same but the differences need to be known.

- 5 Second Shield
- 6 Second Shield
- 8 Second Shield
- 10 Second Shield

Those in the right hand column and supposed to be the only ones which reflect cannonballs and rockets, but I find that they all do it. However, those two are the only ones which spin your opponents upon collision.

If you have any of them in use and drive through any sort of hazard, then the hazard will vanish and you will not become affected by it. You hear a 'fuzzing' noise when it vanishs and when you actually driving along with the shield going, you hear a noise which is at a different pitch depending on how good the shield is.
