With the price of synthesiser modules now at a reasonable price, I decided I could afford to build my own modular synth! But what about the look and price of those Euroracks? Not For me, I wanted wood to look good so I decided to build my own. I constructed the cabinet from a mahogany window sill, (generic mahogany) and the wood is finished with finishing oil and wax and looks marvelous! The PSU is 2 x 12 volts @ 0.6A using a 1A voltage regulator (7805) for the 5v rail.
