Jim (James Ambrose) Towey's family came from Shanwalla. Jim's father was Martin (Celia) Towey, whose mother was Celia Costello. The Celia nickname was later corrupted to 'Sailor'.
Martin was married twice. The first time to a local girl called Finn with whom he had four children.
Johnny, who married in Yorkshire and had five sons and three daughters.
Martin who married in Canterbury and had no children.
Paddy who was single and died in Doncaster aged 51. He is buried in Todmorden.
Mary who worked for nuns in Hackney. She later lived with 'The Little Sisters of the Poor' in Manchester. She is buried in Hackney.

Malachy who married Bea Mooney from Ardee, Co Louth, in Chicago, USA. Mal has a daughter Esther Towey-Muhr.
Bridget Isidore who married Lawton from Leitrim and lives in Cambridge, UK.
Joe (Michael). Michael has a son Martin.
Ned never married and lived on the home farm in Dernabrock. After Ned's death, Michael's son Martin took over the farm.
Celia who died as a baby.
