Help Wanted!
Late model SNES consoles (those made after some point in 1995) are redesigned, which means that my 50/60Hz modification instructions do not apply. Please, if you have one of these recent US or Japanese SNES consoles,
contact me!
Coming Attractions/Works in Progress (which I may or may not ever get around to completing)
Mark's 64 Archive. I have been transferring some of my original C64 disks to D64 format, for use with emulators or for transferring to a real C64.
Many of these may not be available elsewhere on the Internet.
When I get time, I may write documents on the following subjects:
- Super NES "PAL booster" modification instructions. This will only be of use if you own a PAL booster. Performing this modification to your console will allow the 50/60Hz switch on the booster to work. Note that
this is not the same as fitting a 50/60Hz switch inside the console! There is a brief explanation of how PAL boosters work in the Tri-Star Super Game Boy modification document.
- NES game compatibility list. This will list which PAL NES games do not work perfectly on an NTSC NES, and vice versa.
- Sega Mega Drive/Genesis 50/60Hz and language switch instructions. This is covered in the video games FAQ at ftp://rtfm.mit.edu/ for the Mega Drive/Genesis 1.
Hopefully I will find out how to fit switches to the Mega Drive/Genesis II also.
If you want information on any of these right away, or have information to contribute, contact me.
