This page contains links to some of my original C64 disks, which I have transferred to d64 format. You can download these files for use with an emulator, or transfer them to a real C64.
Be sure to shift-click links if you want to download them to disk. Each program is stored in a .tar.gz (gzipped tar) archive along with a .readme file describing the contents. You can access both the archives and the individual description files from this page. I welcome comments on which archive format is preferable. I have gone with .tar.gz. If you're not familiar with this format, you can probably download versions of gzip and tar for your computer from here. Also, if you use a PC running Windows, the common WinZip program can unpack .tar.gz files.
I hope you find some interesting programs here. Note that at least one game only works on NTSC C64s; this is noted in its corresponding .readme file.
Note also that these have been transferred directly from my originals. In some cases, games use an "enter a word" type of copy-protection (Lemmings, for example). You will need the documentation to these games in order to play them! If you know of a patch to bypass this protection, please let me know. I would like to include it on this page.
These are two test/demo disks that came with 1541 disk drives. At least one of them has been altered from its original state. (Yet to be uploaded.)
