Clayton 6 wheel carriages
Although originally designed by the Midland for their own domestic use and on the Scottish Joint Stock passenger services, the Brecon & Merthyr bought many examples at the end of their Midland service life. In 1923 they became part of the GWR carriage stock. . As most were scrapped in 1928, we suspect that not many were repainted in the GWR livery if indeed any. |
