The Cameo Players invite you to:
A MADCAP MEDIEVAL CHRISTMAS!

Date:Saturday 28th November
Time: 7.30pm
Tickets £9.00

An evening of Christmas capers and Medieval merriment.

The Victorians might have re-invented Christmas but it was from Medieval England that they took their inspiration.

People in those days certainly knew how to enjoy themselves and celebrate Christmas by singing carols, decorating their homes, and overindulging in seasonal food and drink!

Join the Cameo Players for a fun evening of music, prose and drama for the festive season with mince pies and mulled wine in the interval.

Sit back and be ready to be entertained with our Magical production of Cinderella. Our story starts in The Woods where we meet The Fairy, Prince Charming and Dandini. Later we meet Buttons who looks after Baron Hard Up and his three daughters, two of whom are so ugly that one sight of them would easily curdle milk. Then there is Cinderella, the prettiest girl in the land, who is bullied by her two ugly sisters, Gertrude and Flossy.

This fairytale is brought to life with spectacular visual effects in the traditional pantomime style. Get ready to shout and cheer Buttons, Cinderella and Prince Charming. But do remember to BOO and BOO again every time you see The Ugly Sisters up to their evil ways !
