NB:Andrew Smith MP, who was to have been our guest, has had to cancel. His office has suggested June 3 instead.

Our meeting will go ahead as planned, though, and we have an extensive agenda including the possibility of introducing NOW chapters or groups to deal more effectively with our wide range of interests

Wednesday 19 5.00pm onwards Rally for Freedom for Vanunu Broad Street, Oxford, moving on to Friends' Meeting House, where there'll be food (bring vegan/vegetarian things to share). Sea Green Singers will be performing at 7.00pm or so.

The Vanunu Freedom Bike Ride from Faslane to London will arrive in Oxford on Wendesday April 19th. To support the cyclists and draw
attention to the continued draconian restrictions placed on Mordechai Vanunu by the Israeli Government, and his upcoming trial, there will
be a rally starting in Broad Street at 5pm. The main speaker will be Bruce Kent. This will be followed by a bike cavalcade round central
Oxford. All welcome. Bring a bike if you have one.
The rally will be followed by an evening event at the Friends Meeting House. Anyone interested in attending the evening event shouldcontact Kathy Van Praag at kvanpraag@mac.com.

You do need to contact her, as there is limited space in the FMH and it can't accommodate vast hordes.
