Built by William the Conqueror to subdue rebellious local people, Stafford Castle has dominated the Stafford landscape for over 900 years. Follow the castle trail or explore the castle ruins taking in the breath-taking panoramic view from the hilltop.
To reach Stafford Castle, guests must travel West on the A518 towards Stafford. Follow signs the Castle just off the A518, one mile south-west of Stafford. (~Maps of Uttoxeter and the West Midlands~)
Stafford Castle is an exciting venue for year-round events and shows, from historical re-enactments, Shakespeare productions, torch lit tours and childrens activities. (Please phone to find out more)

Stafford Castle is open between Tuesday to Sunday.

April to October
  10am till 5pm
November to March
  10am till 4pm
