Your Wedding at the Hand will take place in an historic place and both you and your guests will be celebrating the reception in a room where William Wordsworth, Robert Browning, Walter Scott, Tennyson, The Duke of Wellington, Charles Darwin, Winston Churchill and even Ella Fitzgerald have spent time.

For any of your guests who intend to stay over, the Hotel has 58 bright and modern en suite rooms. At the same time your guests have access to the Castle View Cafe Bar with real ales and the Lounge with cream teas, and the Dinas Bran Restaurant with its special Italian dishes, all are pleased to provide quality with value.

Llangollen is a beautiful town on the side of the River Dee situated in the Dee Valley. It is the home to the International Eisteddfod. This busy tourist town has many attractions nearby including Dinas Bran Castle, Valle Crucis Abby, The Horseshoe Falls, Horseshoe Pass, the Canal Network, and a Steam Railway.

All guests have access to these services in the Hotel and the Town with free use of our own car park.

The Denbigh Suite and Castle View Lounge offers the ideal opportunity for a formal wedding banquet with a menu of your choice freshly cooked for you by our specially trained chefs. We have many different menus for you to choose from. Also, if you prefer we can help you to arrange a buffet where your guests can mix informally.

The Denbigh Suite has its own bar and we can arrange entertainment for your guests folowing their meal. You might prefer live entertainment specific to your taste, a disco, or your own entertainment. Whatever decision you come to our staff will be keen to make this a very special occasion on a very special day!
The Castle View Lounge with its relaxed air overlooking the river and gardens is ideal for for a smaller gathering where either formal or informal arrangements can work equally well.
Room Hire and Accommodation - please accept the use of a room as our wedding present with a 10% reduction on our normal menu charges. We will also accommodate your guests in the hotel, again with a 10% reduction on normal room charges. Talk to us about your plans and you will find that we provide personal service quality and value for money.

On confirmation of a booking we require a deposit of £10 per person. Please make your cheque payable to The Hand Hotel within 14 days of booking. Full payment for the balance is required at least 14 days prior to the event,
