PAN: PAGAN ANTI - DEFAMATION NETWORK

AFFILIATED TO SAFF

The Pagan Federation

Attracting (inviting) unwanted fundamentalist attention, via its woefully out-of-touch interfaith fiasco and child-based  policies?

Previous media reports mentioned that the  Pagan Federation had appointed an Essex comprehensive school media studies teacher as its first so-called youth manager, to educate teenagers about witchcraft.

Ralph Morse, a 44-year-old "witch" from Colchester and member of the local Silver Wheel coven,  apparently produced an information pack about paganism and witchcraft for distribution to inquiring youngsters.

As expected this appointment caused anger among Christian groups who describe Mr Morse's role as "dangerous".

Most worrying for Pagans as a whole is the attention this situation has attracted from the highly anti-occultist outfit

'Reachout Trust'

"Paganism opens you up to a supernatural power that cannot be controlled. It's dangerous to encourage young people."

Doug Harris, spokesman for the Reachout Trust speaking about this PF appointment

Reachout Trust are the highly fundamentalist Christian organisation which single-handedly promoted the
Satanic Ritual Abuse Myth in the U.K. 16 years ago. This resulted in innocent families being destroyed
subsequent to authoritarian (evangelically-orchestrated) dawn raids and the UK taxpayer being shredded out of twenty million
quid, via a wholly misled society chasing Satanic spectres that 'only' existed in fundamentalist minds.

Have Reachout now apparently declared war on the PF because they are promoting Paganism to children? Can the PF
have any idea what they are messing with by attracting the concerns of the Church in this way?

It would seem that the PF leadership has now brought Paganism under a terrible
 new and disconcerting Church scrutiny.

On one hand we have the PF junta unbelievably inviting 'supposedly' Pagan-friendly, soft-option evangelists like
Rev. Richard Thomas to its conferences and on the other hard-line organisations like Reachout Trust
are waiting in the wings to set off into yet more SRAM cases.

Do the PF archbishops 'really' know what they are doing?

Rev. Thomas and his 'occult' warnings

PAN & the SAFF can only warn - the rest is up to discerning 'genuine' Pagans.

Disclaimer:

PAN realises that the vast majority of Christians are not fundamentalist or evangelical in make up and we only criticise religious extremists who seek to disenfranchise other faiths whilst bolstering their own. PAN does not in any way condone violence against any persons or property and we must state that we have always worked towards a more tolerant and equal society.
