MONTHLY MEETING DIARY


Listed below is the provisional programme for the monthly meetings for 2009. These are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at Temple Street Methodist Church, Fenton from 7.45 pm. New members are always welcome.

14th January

 Workshop

 Time to start looking at those trees and planning for the new year.

11th February

 Wiring & maintenance workshop and winter show

 An opportunity to view trees without their summer foliage and admire
 their form and  structure - please bring a tree / trees to display

11th March

 Repotting workshop

 A good opportunity to start on this year's repotting

8th April

 Spring workshop with Chris Williams

 Chris will be on hand with plenty of good advice

13th May

 Workshop

 Time to start refining that new growth already

10th June

 Summer show and workshop

 Early summer workshop - prepare those trees for summer display.
 Please bring a tree /  trees for display on stage.

8th July

 Mid-summer workshop

 A good opportunity to get some pinching-out and general refinement
 done on your trees while they are growing fast.

12th August

 Late summer workshop

 A chance to catch up on the work on your trees that you may have
 missed due to your holidays.

9th September

 Guest speaker - Chris Williams

 Chris will be at the cluib once again to deliver this always-popular
 comments on members' trees.

14th October

 Workshop

 Time to start preparing your trees as the dormant months approach.

11th November

 Winter workshop

 Finish tidying up those trees in preparation for their winter rest.

9th December

 Club Xmas party

 Whilst your trees sleep, sit back and enjoy a sandwich & cake with
 friends old and new in the club.
