The village is situated in North Yorkshire, just off the A63 trunk road at Monk Fryston, approx. 13 miles east of Leeds.
The market town of Selby is 8 miles away and the city of York is some 20 miles distant.
The A1, M1 link road and M62 motorway are a 5 -10 minute drive away.
