What is the difference between the churchyard and cemetery?

The churchyard is the area which surrounds St Wilfrid's church.  There are a number of gravestones which can be inspected.  The cemetery is situated on the outskirts of Monk Fryston towards Selby on the A63 road. The cemetery is still in use and is maintained by the Burial Board.
