Misc. Sci-Fi Barbies

I have fond childhood memories of Space 1999, on seeing the first series a couple of decades ago I attempted my first custom figures and soon found out that enamel paints and Mobile Action Command figures did not mix.
Then came the considerably lesser second series. The sinful dropping of Barry Morse's Prof Bergman was softened by the introduction of Catherine Schell's Maya.
And several more years down the line I'm back to customising Space 1999 figures... and hopefully far more successfully this time.
The head is from the Clueless Amber (?, well the redhead anyway) doll with eyebrows removed and (though it doesn't show) blobs of latex painted on. Discovered that 2nd season costumes were somewhat more complex than the 1st; had to add red stitching and a couple to badges too.

How could Mego have dropped plans for their 12" Wilma Deering? The swines! So I had a go myself using a basic Barbie head on a poseable Barbie body. Costume was white lycra with a bit of white ribbon glued on for trimming. Her coloured shoulder stripe was designed on the PC, scaled down and printed out. Yet to find her her a suitable gun though. Her little gold badge? Blobs of latex-based glue again!

TORI TRACY
Many thanks to Sarah Dyer for the idea :-)
Little sister to Scott, Virgil, Alan, Gordon and John - waiting for her own Thunderbird to pilot.
She's just the Generation Girls Tori doll in a blue lycra outfit (I know... lycra's too shiny). There's a fair bit of double-sided tape knocking around in there too (especially on the sash). The International Rescue badge was culled from one of the many Gerry Anderson sites dotted around the WWW.
Where's her hat? I tried, and failed. Besides, it wouldn't sit right wwith those pigtails. Well, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
(yes, yes... and she needs a gun and holster too...)
