WONDER WOMAN
Another early custom inspired by (i) the 12" Mego WW I always wanted as a kid and (ii) a nice simple out to customise!
The base figure is a Disney Esmerelda doll while her silver gauntlets are pieces of plastic tubing for aquariums!

SHI
My first serious attempt at a comic book character with some truely dreadful sewing (and some cheating too - her boots and gloves were 'ready-sewed'; the hems from a red t-shirt's sleeves!).
The head is a Disney Pocohantas doll on a gymnast Barbie body. Her weapon was scratchbuilt; the blade from milliput, the shaft a piece of crudely carved garden cane.

WYNONNA EARP
From the short-lived Image comic book of the same name. And like the comic this custom, based on a Sleeping Beauty doll, died a premature death - she should really have a larger arsenal but before I could finish her I got seduced by the thought of sci-fi Barbies!

REBEL FLEET TROOPER
Just an Action Man in handsewn trousers, shirt and waistcoat. His helmet was modified from the AM Biker Gear set ('cheek; pieces hacked off and a piece of cardboard added to the back). His boots and gun come from the same source

NECROMANCER BARBIE
Barbie goes bad... very bad.
A Generation Girl Barbie is the base figure - perfect pale skin tone. Costume and cloak are handsewn... and hand tattered ;-) The various amulets etc. came from a bead shop in Mountain View, Calif.
Coming soon... Sacrificial Skipper...
