A fair bit of sculpting went into this; having to wait for the milliput to dry between each stage too the head ended up taking about 5 days to make (there's a Thor head under there somewhere). And, as if that wasn't torture enough I decided to try to do his outfit 'properly'... in other words, no short cuts this time; that jacket was made from c. 12 separate bits of fabric, all handsewn... and with a little bit of extra stitching for decoration.
The belt is a piece of black pleather with some leather thonging superglued on for the raised edging. His chest piercings are a couple of Barbie bracelets and the leather strapping comes off an Elite Brigade shoulder holster. The communicator badge on that strap was made from milliput, and then I made several castings (using the plasticene and stonepowder method) so, as I continue working on more of Moya's crew, each can have a near identical badge too.
D'Argo's hands will later be replaced by a pair of 12" gripping ones to hold his sword that I'm still to make.
