Johanna, Stephen, Freddie, Jennifer and Steve Pillinger (January 2000)

So, who are we?

We are a Christian missionary family who have worked for 10 years with Wycliffe Bible Translators among

the nomadic Rendille people of northern Kenya. Steve is British / South African, Johanna is Dutch, and Stephen

and Jennifer also have the Dutch nationality. Freddie is our Kenyan foster-son.

We are now based in Oxfordshire, England, where our goal is still to bring the message of God’s love to those

who have never before read it in their own mother tongue. To this end, Steve is teaching new candidates, and

working with Wycliffe translators from around the world to prepare portions of the Bible for first-time

publication in many different languages.
