Freddie’s Visit to Britain, 1999–2000

There is no doubt that the main highlight for us as a family in 1999–2000 was not the much-heralded millennium, nor Manchester United’s famous football ‘triple’... — but the visit of Freddie, our Kenyan foster-son! From the time we left Kenya in October 1997, we had prayed that one day he’d be able to visit us in the U.K. As a wonderful answer to that prayer, by God’s provision through special gifts, Freddie was able to be with us from 23rd December 1999 till 18th January 2000.
