Diving Trips
Being an in-land branch, much of our open water training is carried out in local quarries: Dosthill or Stoney Cove. Whilst such sites are convenient for training or brushing up on diving skills they are a poor substitute for the sea.

Members of the branch like to get to the coast as often as possible. Expeditions by branch members have included the Farne Islands, the St. Tudwal's Islands, Milford Haven, Skye, Mull, St. Kilda, Ireland, Criccieth, Anglesey and Weymouth, diving from the shore, the branch RIB or locally chartered boats. Many of these sites are visited annually.

Branch members have organized trips abroad: Over the past five years these have included Gozo, Australia, Tobago, Grenada and many visits to the Red Sea.
